Annual averages of precipitation amount (mm) for the 1991-2020 period from HadUK gridded data (v1.1.0.0), provided on a 12km British National Grid (BNG) This statistic is derived from the Standard-period Average Annual Rainfall (SAAR) map for 1961-1990, a 1km grid based on data from the Met Office, rather than a catchment rainfall series. Time periods are baseline (1980-2000), 2030 (2021-2040), and 2070 (2061-2080).
